Brad Halbersma

Brad Halbersma is a graduate of the University of Northwestern - St. Paul where he studied voice and piano, receiving a Bachelor of Music degree.  While at UNW, Brad participated in the College Choir and Opera Workshop, not only performing but accompanying the ensembles on piano, as well as accompanying many voice students during lessons and performances.  In fall 2011, Brad went with the UNW Piano Tour and premiered his own toe-tapping arrangement of Cole Porter's "Rosalie."  A lover of early jazz and stride piano, especially the works of George Gershwin, Brad's notable performances include Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Dr. Chiu-Ling Lin, formerly Drake University, and Gershwin's Concerto in F with Dr. Richard Lange at UNW.



Pamela Sohriakoff

Pamela Sohriakoff holds the Master of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Minnesota.  Classically trained, she plays and teaches a broad range of music. Mrs. Sohriakoff joined the piano faculty at University of Northwestern - St. Paul in 2014 where she teaches private lessons and accompanies for solo vocal performances and contests and for the opera workshop. She is a member of Minnesota Music Teachers Association and adjudicates for piano contests.  Since 2007, she has served as a vocal coach and pianist at Bethel University in St. Paul.  In addition to freelancing throughout the Twin Cities, she was highlighted as piano soloist in the Two Rivers Chorale 2013 program of Aaron Copland music.  In July of 2012, she toured, played and sang throughout Ukraine with the professional choir Evangelion Chorale as its featured pianist, playing solo performances of works by Rachmaninoff, Grieg and Poulenc at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kiev and the Orhan Dom concert hall in Rivne, among other venues.  Pamela was asked to collaborate with the South Dakota Chorale, a professional choir led by Brian Schmidt for their Fall program.  She has served as a worship leader for over twenty-five years, specializing in improvisation of hymns, chord charts, leading vocally from the piano.  She serves as interim accompanist at Living Waters Lutheran Church in Lino Lakes, MN.
