Nancy Bjornlie

Alto Section Leader

 

Nancy Bjornlie is a charter member of the Two Rivers Chorale and current music librarian as well as the alto section leader and board member. She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from North Park College and her Master of Music Education degree from Roosevelt University, both in Chicago. She also holds a Masters degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls.

Nancy taught junior high vocal music in Owatonna, Blaine and Fridley, MN and has been a choral director at high schools in Glen Ellyn, IL, Richfield and Coon Rapids MN. She taught collegiate music education classes in the Chicago area at North Park College, Loyola University, DePaul University and Roosevelt University. Selected outstanding music educator at the World of Music Festival in Nashville, TN, she is also a charter member of the Roger Tenney Chorale of Owatonna, MN and a former staff member and present board member of the Voice Care Network. Nancy is currently a guidance counselor at Coon Rapids High School.
