About TRC

Celebrating its tenth season, the Two Rivers Chorale is a 75-voice community choir based in Minneapolis/St. Paul, comprised of seasoned amateur singers representing the rich choral heritage of the upper Midwest. Founded in 1998 by Bruce Phelps, and led by artistic director and conductor Timothy Sawyer since 2004, the Two Rivers Chorale seeks to enhance and expand the tradition of Minnesota choral excellence in the Twin Cities by providing fulfilling musical experiences for its members and audiences by performing a wide variety of high quality choral literature.

The TRC performs 4-6 annual concerts at Benson Great Hall in St. Paul and other significant venues in the region. In the summer of 2003, members of the TRC performed a concert tour of England, Ireland and Scotland. In 2005, the TRC Chamber Singers made a performing debut at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, and has recently appeared as a part of the Fine Arts Series at First Presbyterian Church in Rochester and Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina.
