Two Rivers Chorale is a dynamic community choir based in Minneapolis and St. Paul comprised of seasoned amateur singers representing the rich choral heritage of the upper Midwest. Founded in 1998 and led by artistic director and conductor Timothy Sawyer since 2004, Two Rivers Chorale seeks to enhance and expand the tradition of Minnesota choral excellence.

We come together to delight in the beauty and power of choral singing. We strive to create a fulfilling musical experience for ourselves and for our appreciative audience.

Two Rivers Chorale (TRC) derives its name from the convergence of the great Mississippi and Rum rivers in Anoka, the birthplace of the TRC. The connection between water and choral music is a powerful one – and choral music made in Minnesota has become a mighty musical ‘river,’ known and celebrated throughout the world.
